One major hassle of all these web based time tracking packages/services is that they are just that "online." No web connection = No time tracking = (for me) big hassle.

Also, all these services want to charge you (in some cases) a more than modest monthly fee.

Finally, you're putting all your critical business data in someone else's hands. If they go "poof" so goes your critical business information (and maybe even your business).

I am so glad I found Easy Time Tracker. It's certainly affordable, for even the smallest operation. It lets me control my own data on my own machine(s). Plus, it WILL allow me to synch with their online package if I have a group/team working on a project. Giving you the best of BOTH worlds.

One last thing: I found their support to be quick and efficient when I needed them. That's tops in my list. You know what kind of a company you are dealing with when the chips are down and you need help. My issue was resolved within a very short/acceptable time frame. It was certainly within a couple hours and as I recall, it might have even been within an hour. You can't beat that.
